Special rules:

No makeup midterms will be given (unless extreme situations).

Online homework BlackBoard (MyMathLab) is due by Thursday evening 11:59 PM. Hand-Graded homework is due every Thursday at the beginning of class. No late homwork will be accepted.

Homework must be readable and must be stapled. Illegible scribblings will receive no credits from the grader.

Quizzes will be given (basically biweekly) in the last 10-15 mins in class. Most questions of quizzes will be similar to problems of previous homeworks and examples in class.

The lowest 3 hand-written homework scores, lowest 3 online homework scores, and lowest 1 quizzes scores will be dropped.

Actively participating in class and working on extra problems will help improve your grade.

There are no partial credits for multiple choices problems in either midterms and final exam.
